Designing luxury for Hermès

Explore the meticulous design process behind the Hermès Luxury Fashion Headquarters, where elegance meets functionality and heritage intertwines with modern aesthetics.

Client vision: Hermès luxury redefined

Hermès, a renowned French luxury manufacturer, sought an interior design that reflected their exclusive and sought-after brand identity. The primary requirements for their Luxury Fashion Headquarters were clear: achieve aesthetic brilliance with a minimal mindset, enhance their 'silent luxury' through superior materials and heritage appreciation, and integrate texture and precision that echo their merchandise.

Ingraining brand philosophy into design

To ensure the project's success, I deeply ingrained Hermès' philosophies and core values into every aspect of the design. The space was crafted to embody the company's symbol of sophistication and elegance within the fashion world. My design showcased the timelessness and durability of luxury goods, creating an environment that perfectly aligned with their prestigious image.

Highlighting Hermēs branding

The client's favorite aspect and biggest compliment was the consistent integration of their branding throughout the entire design process. From inception to completion, the identifiable Hermès orange and the famous horse-drawn carriage logo were subtly highlighted in the layout and various design elements, creating a cohesive and unmistakably Hermès atmosphere.

The element of surprise

What truly made this project stand out was the incorporation of the "element of surprise" (EOS). From the exterior of the building to the interiors, deliberate design features were introduced to 'wow' guests, clients, and employees alike. These unique touches embody the essence of the French luxury company, Hermès, creating an unforgettable and immersive environment.
